FAQs:Q. How can you offer such a great camp for such a low price?
A. Lots of volunteer time and lots of support and donations from our great sponsors!
Q. What if I can’t make it by 8:00pm on July 4 to check in?
A. Let us know and we will make alternate arrangements to work with your specific situation.
Q. I filled out the registration form recently, but it didn't seem to work. How can I be sure that you received my registration?A. All registrations are acknowledged by email within a day or two of submitting the form. There were some intermittent technical issues between March 1, 2012 and April 6, 2012. If you registered, but did not receive an email acknowledgement back, please re-register or contact us. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
Q. Will I have a chance to ask Chester Thompson about working with Frank Zappa, Billy Ward about recording with Robbie Robertson, Rich Redmond about playing on so many #1 hits and Vito Rezza about being in Downbeat magazine ?
A. Absolutely you will !! The objective of the camp is for you to be inspired and motivated to be your best through the lessons and close interaction with all of our artists.
Q. As a bass player will I get to jam with these drummers who have worked with bass players Lee Sklar, Tim LeFebve, Abe Laboriel Sr, John Patitucci and many more ?
A. You sure will !! We are setting aside time each day for a bass player only workshop with our artists.
Q. I play guitar as well as drums. Can I bring my guitar for jamming?
A. You’re welcome to bring other instruments that you play. There will be lots of opportunity to practice and to jam with others.
Q What else should I bring?
A. You should bring:- Comfortable clothes
- Personal items
- Camera
- Headphones
Q. How do I get to Cedar Lodge?
A. It is just off Highway 11 between Saskatoon and Regina in Saskatchewan, Canada. It is about a 30 minute drive from Saskatoon or about a 2 hour drive from Regina. There are detailed directions on the Cedar Lodge website. If you are flying into Saskatoon and need transportation to the camp, let us know. We have limited space on a shuttle from the airport to the camp and back.
